The Little Bridge in Winter

I found out this past Fall that a beaver, or beaver family, had built a dam under this bridge. A neighbor had mentioned it to me and said that it was preventing the water from flowing under the bridge.

Sure enough a couple of days later I saw a tractor on the bridge and knew what they were doing. They removed the dam.

I don’t know what the poor beavers did, but they hopefully chose a better place to build and got their new house build before the winter.

New England Winter Postcards

It’s one of my favorite spots to take pictures. The views from the bridge or towards it are all beautiful and I used up my camera battery all too quickly.
