I’ve been neglecting my blog because I am getting quite busy with my online business and recently hired my daughter to help me out. She can’t find a job and is running very low on cash, and like the rest of us, she has bills to pay. I am thrilled that she is willing to help me out by advertising my products on my Sandpiper Wedding blog and once she gets going, I am hoping she will help me by doing some other things as well. I love to do the creating, but spend loads of time promoting to get my products seen and I will take any help I can get!
Last year was a very productive one for me at Zazzle, and I’m hoping that 2011 will be even better. I do a lot of wedding related work and Spring and Summer are generally my busy times. I spend a lot of time working with the bride to be, or mother of the bride, getting the invitations just right, and wedding programs can be very time consuming to create. I never thought that I’d be able to earn a living working online, but I am getting close to being able to do that. It’s taken over 3 years and loads of time spent at the computer so it’s not easy, but it is possible. I am living proof.
On another note, I got a wonderful new camera from my kids at Christmas and once I learn how to add the pictures to my computer, I’ll be sharing them.
As you can see from the picture, Richie enjoyed chewing the bows off the Christmas presents on Christmas morning. I usually save the bows, but he chewed them to shreds.

Hi! I found your blog via a Concord Winter Farmer’s Market blog! I’m a local wedding photographer, and a full time photojournalist with the Concord Monitor here in town. I was just wondering if you’re a wedding planner/designer? We’d love to touch base with other wedding affiliates close by… we travel so much to the Boston area to shoot weddings, it would be nice to have some closer contacts near where we live!
Best,
Katie

Hi Katie,
I am not a wedding planner, I design stationery online for weddings. My customers come from all over the country (and world) so I can’t help you it seems. Your site is beautiful with splendid photos and I’d be happy to link you on my BlueHyd blog where I sell mostly wedding related items.
All the best,
Pam

This is great for you and your daughter.
Isn’t it amazing how our way of earning a living has shifted in the past few years? When I was a teenager it was assumed that I would be a teacher (one of the greatest callings ever) or some sort of secretary or office worker. Period. No options. Now you’ve not only opened up your life, but also your daughter’s life. Good for you!
Sending wishes for good, good luck,
